Raspberry Nut Butter Smoothie
I created this smoothie on a whim one morning, and it has become my all-time favorite "go-to" smoothie. Sometimes I'll substitute another tart fruit like cherries or blackberries, but there's something about the dark pink color that makes this winner (especially with the kids).
Get ready for a tart and tangy pop of flavor, with a creamy and thick texture, full of nutrition and wholesome ingredients.
For added kicks, make it a smoothie bowl and top it with fresh (or frozen) fruit, toasted coconut flakes, chia seeds, or cacao nibs - whatever suits your fancy!
Raspberry Peanut Butter Smoothie
1 cup orange juice or 1 whole orange (if using high-powered blender)
1 cup Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
1 tablespoon flaxseed oil
1 tablespoon nut butter
1 1/2 cup frozen raspberries
1 scoop protein (I like ToneItUp Vanilla plant protein)
handful of ice, optional
